[feature suggestion] provide missing options for modprobe & rmmod
{"kernel":"4.14.131","hostname":"to","system":"ARMv7 Processor rev 1 (v7l)","model":"Turris Omnia","board_name":"cznic,turris-omnia","release":{"distribution":"TurrisOS","version":"5.0-dev","revision":"cab851b","target":"mvebu/cortexa9","description":"TurrisOS 5.0-dev cab851b"}}
Whilst relevant kernel config is enabled
gzip -cd /proc/config.gz | grep UNLOAD
CONFIG_MODULE_UNLOAD=y
CONFIG_MODULE_FORCE_UNLOAD=y
It appears that the means for unloading kernel modules that are in use been stripped from userland
modprobe -r
modprobe: unrecognized option: r
Usage: modprobe [-q] filename
rmmod -f /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/{module name}.ko
Usage: rmmod module
For debugging/testing sessions that leaves only the drastic way of removing the kernel module(s) entirely since /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf being common module managemen tool in Linux distros is apprently not in OpenWrt.
