Safe fallback when mount fails
I noticed possible problem. When srv
service fails then /srv
will be just plain directory. That seems to me as unsafe because potential failure of drive can lead to failed mount. When user misses that then he can wear out flash without noticing it.
I would suggest to mount read only tmpfs to /srv
when we encounter problem with mounting (missing drive or mount failed). Or someone suggest better approach how to ensure that srv is not writable unless it's mounted.
