IP_PKTINFO and non-zero ipi_ifindex on Linux?
Hi,
I'm curious if Knot's UDP handler has a bug with regard to sockets where IP_PKTINFO
ancillary data is used, similar to this Unbound bug: https://www.nlnetlabs.nl/bugs-script/show_bug.cgi?id=660. It looks like the udp_pktinfo_handle()
function on Linux systems can put a non-zero ipi_ifindex
value into the IP_PKTINFO
data on outbound datagrams, which according to Apollon Oikonomopoulos' Unbound bug report is problematic.
Thanks!
